Student’s Admission Procedures

New students at primary and secondary levels shall sit for an entry test. The DoS in collaboration with the teacher or head of section shall set the test based on the basic skills expected from a new learner to be admitted to any given class. The test shall be corrected immediately and results shall be communicated to the parent in not more than 24 hours in order to allow the school and the parent to take a prompt decision.

While communicating the results, it will be the role of the DoS to show the parent the strength and weaknesses the child has; the reason of retaining or rejecting  the candidate.

  • Special Test

This is a test that can be set for a candidate whose report from the previous school indicates that the child should repeat. And, whereby the parents insist that the child be promoted due to different reasons they may provide, namely the child’s age, the previous school system, etc.
